Course Description:

This training course is designed to provide a basic knowledge of pharmaceutical encapsulation operation, equipment type, function, and advanced application training with hands on experience for each participant.

This one or two day training course is a complete presentation of hard shell capsule technology. We will discuss powder and granulation preparation, capsule handling and care as well as the many different types of capsule filling machines commonly used in Pharmaceutical & Nutritional Industry.

The participant will gain a clear understanding of the machine set-up, operation and the demands of change-over from one product and capsule size to another. They will learn how to evaluate a granulation, capsule weight and yield improvements. This session can include hands-on equipment operation for smaller groups or we can cover theory of operation for large groups. We will also cover capsule care, storage and a comprehensive discussion on capsule defects.

Who Should Attend:

Technical Services, QA, R&D, Production Managers, Supervisors, Leads and Operators. This course is designed for new employees, experienced employees and recent transfers.

Certificates:

Each participant will receive a "Certificate of Completion". Customer to provide a complete list of names of participants.
